Getting Started

  2. Compose Your First Request: On your SECURUS tablet, open the eMessage app and start a new message to your KiteAI Service Representative Contact. Type your question clearly, for example:

Our AI Service usually takes a few minutes to process your request. The eMessage is sent immediately, but arrival in your inbox varies depending on the facility and SECURUS procedures. If a response is long, it will be automatically split into multiple eMessages.

With the $25/month subscription, residents can send unlimited AI requests. Each eMessage can contain up to 20,000 characters and 5 images. Standard SECURUS stamp rates apply for sending and receiving messages.

No, all eMessage AI Requests are sent directly to KiteAI Service Representatives via SECURUS who pass them on to an AI system which routes them to the optimal AI Service to answer the Request. Then KiteAI delivers the AI Service Response directly to your SECURUS Inbox. All eMessages are sent/received from KiteAI, not from your family or friends.
